สาลี่นก หรือ สาลี่ถั่ว (ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์: Pyrus calleryana จีน: 豆梨 หรือ 鸟梨; พินอิน: dòu lí หรือ niǎo lí; อังกฤษ: Callery pear) เป็นไม้ผลผลัดใบในสกุลสาลี่ วงศ์ Rosaceae มีถิ่นกำเนิดในในประเทศจีนตะวันออกและจีนตอนใต้จนถึงเวียดนาม รวมทั้งเกาหลีและญี่ปุ่น มักขึ้นใน ริมบึง และป่าหญ้าที่มีอากาศอบอุ่นและชื้น สามารถใช้เป็นในการติดตาต่อกิ่ง รากและใบมีคุณค่าทางยา บำรุงปอด บรรเทาอาการไอ คลายร้อน ล้างพิษ รักษาโรคตาแดงเฉียบพลัน ผลมีขนาดเล็ก ผลไม้ช่วยทำให้กระเพาะแข็งแรง บรรเทาโรคบิด
อนุกรมวิธาน
สาลี่นก (P. calleryana) ตั้งชื่อตามผู้เชี่ยวชาญจีนวิทยาชาวอิตาลี-ฝรั่งเศส โจเซฟ-มารี แคลเลอรี (Joseph-Marie Callery; ค.ศ. 1810–ค.ศ. 1862) ซึ่งส่งตัวอย่างต้นไม้จากจีนไปยังยุโรป
ลักษณะทางพฤกษศาสตร์
สาลี่นกเป็นไม้ผลผลัดใบ มีความสูง 5–8 เมตร (16–26 ฟุต) มักมีรูปกรวยถึงกลมมน
ใบเป็นรูปไข่ ยาว 4–8 เซนติเมตร (1+1⁄2 ถึง 3 นิ้ว) สีเขียวเข้มมันด้านบน ด้านล่างสีซีดกว่าเล็กน้อย ก้านใบยาว ใบเมื่อเริ่มงอกเป็นทรงกระบอก (terete) และมีขนสั้น ๆ (tomentose) เมื่อแก่ใบเกลี้ยง (glabrescent) ตารูปสามเหลี่ยมรี เป็นไม้ผลัดใบในช่วงฤดูร้อนใบเป็นสีเขียวเข้ม ในฤดูใบไม้ร่วงมักจะเปลี่ยนเป็นสีตั้งแต่สีเหลืองและสีส้มไปจนถึงสีแดง สีชมพู สีม่วง
ช่อดอก มี 6-12 ดอก ดอกสีขาวห้ากลีบมีเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลางประมาณ 2–2.5 เซนติเมตร. (3⁄4 ถึง 1 นิ้ว) กลีบประดับรูปใบหอกขอบเรียบปลายแหลมหยัก ยาว 8-13 มิลลิเมตร ออกดอกมากทั่วทั้งต้นในต้นฤดูใบไม้ผลิ เมื่อดอกร่วงจะออกใบเต็มที่
ผลเกลี้ยง สีน้ำตาลอมดำมีจุดสีซีด ทรงกลม (ซึ่งมักถูกสันนิษฐานว่ากินไม่ได้เนื่องจากมีเมล็ดที่มีไซยาไนด์เจืออยู่มาก) มีขนาดเล็กมาก เส้นผ่านศูนย์กลางน้อยกว่า 1 เซนติเมตร ก้านผลยาว 1.5–3 เซนติเมตร ผลค่อนข้างแข็งสากเกือบเป็นไม้ ช่วงติดผลคือเดือนสิงหาคม-กันยายน มีนกช่วยกระจายเมล็ดจากการถ่ายมูล
สาลี่นกมีความสามารถต้านทานโรคใบไหม้ได้อย่างดี แม้ว่าในสายพันธุ์ปลูกต่าง ๆ แต่อ่อนไหวและได้รับความเสียหายจากพายุลมแรง (รวมทั้งพายุน้ำแข็ง หิมะตกหนัก) โดยง่าย ซึ่งทำให้เสียรูปทรงต้น หรือตายได้ เนื่องจากอัตราการเจริญเติบโตตามธรรมชาติที่เร็วเกินไป

การแพร่กระจายและถิ่นที่อยู่
พบในป่าเนินเขา ที่ราบ ป่าทึบในมณฑลชานตง เหอหนาน เจียงซู เจ้อเจียง เจียงซี อานฮุย หูเป่ย์ หูหนาน ฝูเจี้ยน กวางตุ้ง กวางสี และยูนนาน ในสภาพอากาศที่อบอุ่นและชื้น เหนือระดับน้ำทะเล 80–1800 เมตร และในภาคเหนือของเวียดนาม
การใช้ประโยชน์
ไม้สาลี่ (ทุกชนิด) เป็นไม้ที่มีเนื้อสัมผัสที่ดีที่สุดในจำนวนพืชไม้ผลทั้งหมด มีเนื้อแข็งและมีเนื้อแน่นเหมาะสำหรับทำเครื่องเป่าลมไม้ และใช้ในเฟอร์นิเจอร์ชั้นดี นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นที่ต้องการสำหรับเป็นแผ่นไม้แกะสำหรับงานภาพพิมพ์แกะไม้ด้วย
สาลี่นกถูกใช้เป็นต้นตอสำหรับการติดตาต่อกิ่งแพร์และโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งสำหรับสาลี่จีน
