จีนวิทยา (อังกฤษ: Sinology) หรือที่เรียกอีกอย่างว่า จีนศึกษา (อังกฤษ: Chinese studies) เป็นสาขาย่อยของสาขาวิชาหรือ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการวิจัยทางสังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์เกี่ยวกับประเทศจีน เป็นสาขาวิชาที่เน้นการศึกษาอารยธรรมจีนเป็นหลักผ่านภาษา ประวัติศาสตร์ วัฒนธรรม วรรณคดี ปรัชญา ศิลปะ ดนตรี ภาพยนตร์ และวิทยาศาสตร์ของจีน ต้นกำเนิดของสาขาวิชานี้ "อาจตามรอยไปถึงการตรวจสอบที่นักวิชาการจีนริเริ่มขึ้นจากอารยธรรมของพวกเขาเอง"
