ประวัติ

ค.ศ. 2013–2015: อัลบั้ม 5 Seconds of Summer และ LiveSOS

วันที่ 5 กุมภาพันธ์ ค.ศ. 2014 ไฟฟ์เซคันด์สออฟซัมเมอร์ได้เปิดให้พรีออเดอร์ซิงเกิล She Looks So Perfect ทางไอจูนส์ในระดับสากล ก่อนออกวางจำหน่ายในวันที่ 21 กุมภาพันธ์ ซึ่งซิงเกิลนี้ถือเป็นผลงานแรกกับค่ายเพลงใหญ่ โดยสามารถทำอันดับสูงสุดบนชาร์ตไอจูนส์ได้ใน 39 ประเทศภายใน 2 วันแรกที่เปิดให้พรีออเดอร์ ก่อนจะเพิ่มขึ้นเป็น 49 ประเทศในเวลาต่อมา และยังขึ้นทำอันดับสูงสุดบนชาร์ตของออสเตรเลีย, นิวซีแลนด์, ไอร์แลนด์, สกอตแลนด์ และสหราชอาณาจักร รวมถึงได้รับรางวัลแผ่นเสียงระดับทริเปิลแพลทินัมในออสเตรเลีย ระดับแพลทินัมในนิวซีแลนด์ และระดับทองคำในแคนาดา, อิตาลี และสหราชอาณาจักรอีกด้วย

วันที่ 13 กุมภาพันธ์ ค.ศ. 2015 มีการยืนยันว่า ไฟฟ์เซคันด์สออฟซัมเมอร์จะร่วมทัวร์กับวันไดเรกชันเป็นครั้งที่สามในทัวร์คอนเสิร์ต On The Road Agian Tour ในญี่ปุ่น โดยหลังจากนั้นพวกเขาก็จะมีคอนเสิร์ตของตัวเองในโตเกียวด้วยเช่นกัน
ค.ศ. 2018: อัลบั้ม Youngblood
สตูดิโออัลบั้มชุดที่ 3 กับแคปิตอลเรเคิดส์ โดยทางวงประกาศการเปิดตัวอัลบั้มบน Twitter ในวันที่ 9 เมษายน และเปิดตัวและวางจำหน่ายอย่างเป็นทางการเมื่อ 15 มิถุนายน 2018

ไฮออร์เฮย์เรเคิดส์เป็นค่ายเพลงที่ไฟฟ์เซคันด์สออฟซัมเมอร์ตั้งขึ้นร่วมกับแคปิตอลเรเคิดส์เมื่อวันที่ 27 มกราคม ค.ศ. 2014 ซึ่งตั้งชื่อตามผลโหวตจากแฟนคลับทางทวิตเตอร์ โดยนอกจากพวกเขาจะออกผลงานในค่ายนี้เองแล้ว จะยังมีการเซ็นสัญญาให้กับวงอื่นด้วย
