Pterygota (/ˌtɛrəˈɡoʊtə/ terrə-goh-təกรีกโบราณ: πτερυγωτός, อักษรโรมัน: pterugōtós, แปลตรงตัว 'มีปีก') เป็นชั้นของแมลงที่ประกอบด้วยแมลงที่มีปีกทั้งหมดและกลุ่มที่สูญเสียปีกในภายหลัง

กลุ่มแมลง Pterygota ประกอบด้วยแมลงทั้งหมดประมาณ 99.9% อันดับที่ไม่ได้รวมอยู่คือ อาร์เคโอกแนททา (แมลงชนิดจัมปิ้งบริสเทิลเทล) และ ไซเจนโตมา (และสองอันดับแมลงที่ไม่มีปีกมาแต่เดิม) ต่างจากอาร์เคโอกแนททาและไซเจนโตมา แมลงในกลุ่ม Pterygota ไม่มีสไตลัสหรือตุ่มน้ำบนส่วนท้อง (ซึ่งบางครั้งก็หายไปในไซเจนโตมาบางชนิด) และยกเว้นในกรณีของแมลงเม่าส่วนใหญ่ ยังขาดซึ่งพบในแมลงไม่มีปีกโดยกำเนิด
