สวิตช์ฟุต (อังกฤษ: Switchfoot) เป็นวงดนตรีแนวออลเทอร์นาทิฟร็อก จากแซนดีเอโก ในรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย สหรัฐอเมริกา สมาชิกปัจจุบันคือ Jon Foreman (ร้องนำ, กีต้าร์) และ Tim Foreman (เบส) ร่วมด้วย Jerome Fontamillas (คีย์บอร์ด) และ Chad Butler (กลอง) และ Drew Shirley (กีตาร์) มีเพลงที่เป็นที่รู้จักคือเพลง "Meant to Live" และ "Dare You to Move"

ประวัติ
จุดเริ่มต้นของ Switchfoot เกิดจากการพบกันของ Jon และ Chad ซึ่งต่างก็เป็นนักเล่นกระดานโต้คลื่นที่เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันในระดับชาติ โดยทั้งคู่อยู่คนละทีมกัน แต่ด้วยความสนใจในด้านดนตรีที่ตรงกันจึงทำให้ทั้งคู่ร่วมกันฟอร์มวง Switchfoot ขึ้นมา ซึ่งชื่อวง “Switchfoot” ก็มาจากศัพท์เทคนิคในการเล่นกระดานโต้คลื่นอีกด้วย
สวิตช์ฟุตมีผลงานกับสังกัดอินดี้มาแล้ว 3 ชุดคือ Legend Of Chin (1997), New Way To Be Human (1999) และ Learning To Breath (2000) ซึ่งก็ประสบความสำเร็จเป็นอย่างดีด้วยยอดขายกว่า 400,000 ก๊อปปี้ รวมทั้งได้รับรางวัล ASCAP San Diego Music Award ในปี 2001 และ 2002 ซึ่งเป็นความสำเร็จที่ไม่ธรรมดาเลยสำหรับวงอินดี้
นอกจากนี้บทเพลงของ Switchfoot ยังถูกนำไปใช้ประกอบรายการโทรทัศน์อย่าง Dawson’s Creek และ Felicity อีกด้วย รวมทั้งภาพยนตร์อย่าง “A Walk To Remember” ที่นำแสดงโดยแมนดี มัวร์ ซึ่งในเพลงประกอบภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ โดย Jon ยังได้รับเชิญให้ร้องเพลง “Someday We’ll Know” คู่กับแมนดี มัวร์อีกด้วย
The Beautiful Letdown
The Beautiful Letdown ซึ่งถือเป็นอัลบั้มแรกที่ออกจำหน่ายภายใต้สังกัดเมเจอร์อย่าง Sony Music ซึ่งทำให้สวิตช์ฟุตได้รับโอกาสในการทำงานที่มากกว่าเดิม โดยในอัลบั้มนี้พวกเขาได้ร่วมงานกับโปรดิวเซอร์ John Fields (ที่เคยร่วมงานกับ Andrew WK และ Evan & Jaron มาแล้ว) รวมทั้งทีมงานชั้นเยี่ยมอย่าง Chris Lord-Aldge (Goo Goo Dolls) , Tom Lord-Aldge (Rolling Stone และ Blink 182) และ Jack Joseph Puig (John Mayer, No Doubt) “Meant To Live” ซิงเกิลแรกของอัลบั้มซึ่งติดอันดับ Top 20 ในบิลบอร์ด และยังเป็นเพลงประกอบภาพยนตร์ ไอ้แมงมุม 2 อีกด้วย

อัลบั้มนี้ได้มีสมาชิกเพิ่ม 1 คนคือ Drew Shirley (กีตาร์) เป็นสมาชิกอย่างเป็นทางการในปี 2005 อัลบั้ม Nothing Is Sound ออกวางขายในอเมริกา วันที่ 13 กันยายน 2005 โดยมีเพลง "We Are One Tonight" ออกอากาศต้นปี 2006 อัลบั้มชุดนี้ขึ้นสูงสุดอันดับ 3 ในชาร์ตบิลบอร์ด 200
