เลโซโทซอรัส (อังกฤษ: Lesothosaurus) คือ ไดโนเสาร์กลุ่มออร์นิทิสเกีย เป็นสัตว์กินพืชขนาดเล็ก โดยมันมีขนาดไม่ใหญ่มากเมื่อเปรียบกับกลุ่มของมัน เลโซโทซอรัสเป็นไดโนเสาร์ที่อาศัยอยู่ในช่วงต้นยุคจูแรสซิกในเขตประเทศแอฟริกาใต้และราชอาณาจักรเลโซโท มันถูกค้นพบและตั้งชื่อโดย (ปีเตอร์ แกลตัน) เมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1978 ชื่อของมันนั้นหมายถึง "กิ้งก่าจากเลโซโท" สกุลของมันนั้นมีเพียงแค่สปีชีส์เดียวคือ "Lesothosaurus diagnosticus" (เลโซโทซอรัส ดีอักนอสติคัส)

เลโซโทซอรัสเป็นหนึ่งในออร์นิทิสเกียยุคแรกเริ่มที่เป็นที่รู้จักกันมากที่สุดในหมู่นักบรรพชีวินวิทยาและกลุ่มคนรักไดโนเสาร์ แต่สำหรับคนอื่นๆจะไม่ค่อยเป็นที่รู้จักกันมากนัก มันมีซากฟอสซิลที่ค่อนข้างสมบูรณ์ในระดับหนึ่งเลยทีเดียว ส่วนใหญมักพบซากของมันแถบ ชั้นหิน Eliot () ซึ่งร่างกายของมันนั้นถูกออกแบบมาเพื่อใช้ในการเอาชีวิตรอดในช่วงยุคจูแรสซิกเป็นอย่างมาก มันมีฟันที่เรียบง่ายไม่ซับซ้อนเหมือนพวกออร์นิทิสเกียรุ่นหลัง โดยมันอาจจะกินได้แทบทุกอย่างตั้งแต่พืชตระกูลเฟิร์นจนถึงแมลงและสัตว์ขนาดเล็ก พูดง่ายๆคือมันอาจจะกินแบบไม่เลือกเลย ()

อันเนื่องมาจากสภาพฟอสซิลของเลโซโทซอรัสนั้นอยู่ในสภาพที่ค่อนข้างสมบูรณ์จึงทำให้เราได้รู้ถึงลักษณะของกายวิภาคมันได้เป็นอย่างดี โดยมันเป็นขนาดเล็กซึ่งมันมีขนาดอยู่ที่ 1 เมตร (3.3ฟุต) ถึง 2 เมตร (6.6ฟุต) เป็นหนึ่งในออร์นิทิสเกียรุ่นแรก มีขายาวที่มีรูปร่างเพรียว แขนสั้นที่มีมือที่จับอะไรไม่ค่อยได้ ที่มีรูปร่างเพรียวเพื่อใช้ในการวิ่ง เหมือนกับออร์นิสทิเกียทุกตัว มีปากที่รูปร่างเหมือนนก โดยเลโซโทซอรัสอาจจะกินสัตว์ที่มีขนาดเล็กในช่วงที่พืชขาดแคลน

ขนาดของ**เลโซโทซอรัส**เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับมนุษย์ (อันที่จริงในปัจจุบันมีการค้นพบขนตามร่างกายของมันเรียบร้อยแล้ว จึงทำให้หน้าตาของมันไม่เหมือนกับในภาพนี้)
