ลามอโรฌูวีฟ (ฝรั่งเศส: La Mort aux Juifs, เสียงอ่านภาษาฝรั่งเศส: [la mɔʁ o ʒɥif]) เป็นหมู่บ้านขนาดเล็กภายใต้เขตอำนาจศาลของเทศบาล จังหวัดลัวแร ประเทศฝรั่งเศส ชื่อพื้นที่นี้มีความหมายว่า "ความตายต่อชาวยิว"

ที่มาของชื่อ

ชื่อนี้มีที่มาในคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 14 โดย Pierre-Henri Billy นักภูมินามวิทยารายงานว่า ตอนแรกชื่อนี้คือ "la mare au juin″ ซึ่งในภาษาฝรั่งเศสเก่าตามท้องถิ่นแปลว่า "บ่อปุ๋ยน้ำ" คำนี้เกิดวิวัฒนาการเหมือนกับชื่อสถานที่อื่นในพื้นที่นี้ จนกระทั่งท้ายที่สุดกลายเป็น "la Mort aux Juifs" ด้วยรูปแบบกลาง "la mare au Juif" อ้างโดยนักประวัติศาสตร์ท้องถิ่น Paul Gache การแปลงคำว่า "mare" (บ่อ) เป็น "mort" (ตาย) พบในชื่อสถานที่ภาษาฝรั่งเศสเก่าได้บ่อยมาก และ "juin" (ปุ๋ยน้ำ) กลายเป็น "juif" (ยิว) ในสองขั้น ขั้นแรกคือการลดเสียงนาสิก (denasalization) ที่เปลี่ยนจาก "juin" ไปเป็น "jui" และเปลี่ยนรูปเขียนเป็น "juif" ซึ่งในภาษาฝรั่งเศสเก่าออกเสียงเหมือนกัน
