จระเข้อเมริกา (อังกฤษ: American crocodile; ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์: Crocodylus acutus) เป็นจระเข้ที่พบในเขตร้อนของโลกใหม่ มีการกระจายพันธุ์มากที่สุดในจระเข้ 4 ชนิดที่พบในทวีปอเมริกา อาศัยอยู่ตามพื้นที่ชายฝั่งขนาดใหญ่ พบตั้งแต่ชายฝั่งมหาสมุทรแอตแลนติกและมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิกทางตอนใต้เม็กซิโกถึงทวีปอเมริกาใต้ ไกลถึงเปรูและเวเนซุเอลา นอกจากนี้ยังพบในแม่น้ำหลายสายของคิวบา, จาเมกา และเกาะฮิสปันโยลา ส่วนในสหรัฐ จระเข้อเมริกาพบในตอนใต้ของรัฐฟลอริดาเท่านั้น ซึ่งคาดว่ามีประชากรจำนวน 2,000 ตัว แม้จะอยู่ใกล้กับเกาะฮิสปันโยลาแต่ไม่พบจระเข้อเมริกาในปวยร์โตรีโก จระเข้อเมริกาเป็นจระเข้ที่มีขนาดใหญ่กว่าจระเข้อื่นหลายชนิด มีรายงานการพบจระเข้ตัวผู้ยาวถึง 6.1 เมตรในอเมริกากลางและอเมริกาใต้
