คำอธิบาย

English: Coat of arms of Suceava, Suceava County, Romania.

Română: Stema municipiului Suceava, județul Suceava, România.

Descrierea stemei: Stema municipiului Suceava se compune dintr-un scut albastru, încărcat cu o cetate crenelată, de argint, dotată cu ferestre, așezată pe o câmpie verde. În fața cetății, Sfântul Gheorghe ecvestru (cal alb), nimbat de aur, purtând mantie, brâu și cizme roșii, străpunge cu o lance de aur balaurul negru. În șef se află capul de bour având o stea cu cinci raze între coarne, flancat în dreapta de o stea cu opt raze, iar în stânga, de o semilună, toate de aur. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint, formată din șapte turnuri crenelate.
Semnificația elementelor însumate: Simbolizează vechea Cetate de Scaun a Sucevei, al cărei patron era Sfântul Gheorghe. Coroana murală cu șapte turnuri crenelate semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de municipiu și este reședință de județ.
Observație: Deasupra coroanei murale au fost adăugate un cap de bour cu gât și cu stea între coarne, ceea ce evocă faptul că această urbe a fost în trecut capitala Moldovei.

Also, according to Chapter 10 Article 85 Paragraph 2,

The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
