ประวัติ
จอห์น โกลเวอร์ เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 7 สิงหาคม ค.ศ. 1944 ที่คิงสตัน, รัฐนิวยอร์ก, สหรัฐ และเติบโตที่ซาลิสเบอรี, รัฐแมริแลนด์ โกลเวอร์ได้เข้ารับการศึกษา ณ Wicomico High School และเรียนจบในระดับอุดมศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยทาวสัน
ชีวิตส่วนตัว
โกลเวอร์ได้ออกมาเปิดเผยว่าเขาเป็นเกย์ โดยเขาได้แต่งงานกับอดัม เคิร์ธส์แมนในปีค.ศ. 2016 ซึ่งทั้งคู่ได้คบกันตั้งแต่ปีค.ศ. 1993
