สกุลฝาด (Lumnitzera) เป็นสกุลของไม้ป่าชายเลนในบริเวณอินโด-แปซิฟิกตะวันตก อยู่ในวงศ์ Combretaceae ชื่อสามัญในภาษาอังกฤษคือ black mangrove.Lumnitzera ตั้งตามชื่อของนักพฤกษศาสตร์ชาวเยอรมัน (1750-1806) พบในป่าชายเลนจากแอฟริกาตะวันออกจนถึงแปซิฟิกตะวันตกรวมทั้งฟิจิและตองงาและออสเตรเลียเหนือ
สกุลนี้มีสมาชิกสองชนิดที่สีดอกต่างกันคือ (Lumnitzera littorea) มีดอกสีแดง ส่วนฝาดขาว (Lumnitzera racemosa]] มีดอกสีขาว พืชสามสกุลในวงศ์ Combretaceae, , และ Lumnitzera พบในป่าชายเลนแต่ Lumnitzera เป็นสกุลเดียวที่พบในป่าชายเลนแถบอินโด-แปซิฟิกตะวันตกจนถึงออสเตรเลีย
