A German Requiem, To Words of the Holy Scriptures, Op. 45 (เยอรมัน: Ein deutsches Requiem, nach Worten der heiligen Schrift, op. 45) ผลงานประพันธ์ของโยฮันเนิส บรามส์ระหว่างปี ค.ศ. 1865 ถึง 1868 เป็นผลงานชิ้นใหญ่สำหรับบรรเลงด้วยวงออร์เคสตรา ขับร้องประสานเสียง และขับร้องเดี่ยว ประกอบด้วย 7 มูฟเมนต์มีความยาวทั้งสิ้นประมาณ 65 ถึง 80 นาที ผลงานชิ้นนี้แตกต่างจากเรควีเอ็มโดยทั่วไปที่มีบทร้องเป็นภาษาละติน ฉบับของบรามส์มีคำร้องเป็นภาษาเยอรมัน โดยนำมาจากคัมภีร์ไบเบิลฉบับภาษาเยอรมันโดย มาร์ติน ลูเทอร์ เป็นผลงานของบรามส์ที่มีความยาวที่สุด และประสบความสำเร็จที่สุด

บรามส์ได้แต่งมูฟเมนต์ที่ห้าเพิ่มเติมในเดือนพฤษภาคม และนำออกแสดงเป็นครั้งแรกที่ซูริกในวันที่ 12 กันยายน ผลงานเยอรมันเรควีเอ็มออกแสดงครบทั้ง 7 มูฟเมนต์เป็นครั้งแรกที่เมืองไลพ์ซิจ บรรเลงโดยวงออเคสตร้าเกวานเฮ้าส์ เมื่อวันที่ 18 กุมภาพันธ์ ค.ศ. 1869
