The film was Marjan (proper name) , a 35mm , black-and-white film about 110 minutes long, produced and directed by Shahla, a well-known actress and singer. Marjan was the first production of Arya Film, established by Shahla the same year. The story, written for the screen by Mohammad Asemi, is about a tribe of gypsies that settles down near a village. ^
